One hundred people took advantage of the free skin cancer screening clinic held on May 15 at Central Care Cancer Center. The clinic was sponsored by Central Care Cancer Center and Newman Regional Health. Of the 100 people who were screened, 27 people were referred to their primary care physician for further screening or treatment. Dr. Mohammad Razaq, Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, and Dr. Jorge Wong, Radiation Oncologist, with Central Care Cancer Center; Tammy Patterson, APRN, with Newman Family Medicine; and Dr. Tim Harris with Newman Surgical Specialists volunteered their evening for this community service.
